Your role with us
As a warehouse logistics specialist, you are the driving force behind our smooth flow of materials and goods. You are responsible for the entire logistics chain—from professional goods receipt and quality-assured storage to efficient order picking and on-time shipping to our customers. Your precision and organization ensure the quality of our supply chain.
activities
- Goods receipt and quality control: Receipt , identification, and careful inspection of incoming goods in terms of quantity and quality based on the accompanying documents (including dimensions and drawings).
- Proper storage: Transport of goods to the designated storage location in accordance with optimal storage regulations and economic efficiency.
- Order picking and packaging: Efficient compilation of customer orders, preparation of goods for transport in packaging suitable for shipping and secure for transport.
- Shipping logistics: Loading shipments in compliance with load securing regulations and preparing all necessary shipping and accompanying documents (delivery notes, customs documents if applicable).
- Process design: Active participation in the optimization of warehouse processes and logistics procedures to increase efficiency and quality assurance.
- Inventory management and maintenance: Regularly conducting inventories and inventory checks, as well as meticulously maintaining inventory data in the merchandise management system.
skills
- Education/Professional experience: Successfully completed training as a warehouse logistics specialist or comparable, relevant professional experience in the warehouse or logistics sector.
- Detail-orientation and reliability: High quality awareness and the ability to work accurately and without errors (especially when picking and checking).
- Merchandise management systems: Experience in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or merchandise management/ enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, or similar) for inventory management and documentation.
- Industrial truck license: Mandatory (or must be obtained at short notice).
- Physical resilience: Willingness to perform physical activities (lifting, carrying, standing).
- Organizational skills: The ability to keep track of complex inventory and different orders.
